Founder & concept creation
Galen Dru Kahlenberg is a lifelong investor and entrepreneur with a focus on property development in Texas. He founded Alta Homes, ClearLake Asset Management and Orbit Properties, The Galen Foundation for conservation, and Humanity Squared to assist struggling homeowners and renters.
Project lead
Dru Kahlenberg leads the Solarus project day to day — steering design, construction and sales from first sketch to closing table. Raised around his father's developments and the CEO of Alta Homes, he carries the family's vision of mindful coastal living into its next generation.
Concept creation and CFO
Laura Kahlenberg is highly motivated by her accounting expertise, both domestically and internationally, and has an exceptional aptitude for innovative solutions. She inspired The Galen Foundation and leads Solarus' conservation initiatives.
Architect
As Design Director and Principal of EDI, Andre leads the design process on luxury hotels, historical renovations, boutique hotels, restaurants and high-rise condominiums — ensuring exterior and interior elements work harmoniously to create memorable experiences.
Planning director
Over the past 41 years, Patricia "Patti" Knudson Joiner, FAICP, has built a reputation for creating and implementing innovative planning standards. Her work has generated over $14 billion in new taxable value across the Texas Gulf Coast region.
